The Tin Roof Grill is in Sandy, Utah. A suburb of Salt Lake. It’s on a busy street and easy to go by and not notice, but I would recommend you turn around and have a tasty meal. Everything is fresh and yummy but the must get is the Quick Fried Croquettes, served with spicy tomato sauce and garlic aioli for dipping. (pictured below). Ridiculously good!
Sushi Roku Is The Place For Sushi And Japanese Food In Vegas
Holy Crap is this place good! I love Sushi Roku. The food is outstanding, the restaurant is cool, fantastic people watching and it is in the Forum Shops in Caesar’s Palace. One of the coolest malls I have ever been in. Feels like you are walking the streets of Florence. Incredible. Pictured are the Yellowtail Diced Chiles and Beef Rib Eye Wrapped Asparagus.
Serious Thai food in little St. George Utah
Benja’s Thai is real deal folks. I mean frickin good. And who would of thought in a quaint small town in Southwest Utah. I can’t say enough how good this place is. The food is fresh, authentic and full of flavor. I had Benja’s Spicy Basil. Green beans, carrots, zucchini and bell peppers with fresh basil and Thai chili peppers. Amazing. And don’t forget the Mango Sticky Rice for desert. Incredible!
“Eat” Is My Go To In Vegas
If it’s good enough for Anthony Bourdain then I am in. I love this place. Eat is off the beaten track in downtown Vegas in an apartment building. It’s a breakfast/lunch spot and it is absolutely fantastic. I go every time I am in town. This time I got the Killer Grilled Cheese aged cheddar on sourdough w/kick-ass tomato soup. So good! Please go.
Carnegie Deli Vegas. It’s worth a visit.
The Carnegie Deli is a classic in Manhattan. One of the best Jewish delis around. I didn’t go to that one but they have one in the Mirage hotel in Vegas where I happened to be staying. It’s pretty good. I went 3 times for the Matzo Ball Soup. Excellent.
Mesa Grill in Vegas Serving Up Good Southwestern Eats
Best Pho In Boulder
Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup and it is amazing. The best in Boulder is Chez Thuy. Pretty good joint with killer Pho. It’s a sit down restaurant with a huge menu so plenty for everyone but I get the Pho every time. Vege Pho with Shrimp is my thing and it comes with a side of sprouts, peppers and fresh herbs to doctor it up. Oh, and it is HUGE and cheap. Enjoy.
Brazen Is A Great Local Joint
I love local joints and Brazen in the Highlands Neighborhood of Denver is as local as the come. Meaning people aren’t coming from the burbs or other parts of the city to come here. Mostly just people that live near by. I love that. It’s a laid-back space with an open kitchen & chef’s counter and they are serving up New American cuisine & drinks. They have some great local beers on the menu and the food was super tasty. Great spot and the Steak Tartare and Avocado Toasts were nuts!
Zeal Is Crazy Healthy & Pretty Darn Good
Zeal in Boulder is a good place to if you are in the mood for super healthy. I like going for lunch and they are open for breakfast and dinner too. Lots of organic stuff and you come out of there feeling good. I got the Build Your Own Bowl with fish, veggies and rice. There are lots of other choices. They also have lots of fresh veggie and fruit juices if you are into that too. They have cocktails as well.
Boulder Has A New Fish House
I love the West End area of the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO. My Hometown. Lots of good restaurants and charm. The newest addition is Wild Standard. It’s in the old Juanitas spot. A Mexican mainstay in Boulder for years. And I have to tell you, the renovation is so cool and checkout the bar in the basement on weekends. The food is fresh and tasty. For dinner the food is served Dim Sum style. All A La Cart. The waitstaff bring it out on trays and carts and you pick what you want. Check it out. You won’t regret it.
