When in Maine the thing to do is eat lobster rolls. They do them right up there and the lobsters come from those waters. I love them. They are simple and tasty. I mean, it’s white bread, lobster and either mayo or hot butter. There’s not much to it so you would think that wherever you go they are going to be the same but The Clam Shack is a cut above. They taste much better and I am not sure why. I have heard they have a process that they use that separates them from the rest but all I know is they are delicious. I got mine with hot butter. And this place is a counter service little dive in downtown Kennebunkport. Check it out. You will be happy you did.
